Priory Farm is a fourth-generation family run farm, on the edge of the Cotswolds near Stroud and Stonehouse. Frank Pullin, Henry’s Great Grandfather bought the farm in 1936. First and foremost, it was a working dairy farm until 2021, when the herd dispersed, and further diversification led to Barn Store. The dairy farm was only one part of the family run business at Priory Farm, with all members of the family involved.

Since the dairy herd was sold, the beef herd, ‘Stanley Beef’, has developed. Initially supplying local butchers and restaurants. Henry’s brother Max has since expanded and now produces high quality, high welfare, grass fed beef for Morrisons supermarket.

The farm continues to operate 300 acres of arable rotation crop. 2022 has seen some of the land turned into a “pick your own” sunflower field and pumpkin patch run by Henry and his wife Ema.

Priory farm holiday Cottages, run by Henry’s parents Jo and Dave, have been bringing people to visit from all over the globe since 2001. The cottages were renovated from redundant farm buildings, situated in the middle of one of Gloucestershire’s most historic sites, with an ancient Saxon Church, Medieval Manor house, fishpond and Tithe barn.

The Saxon Church, now known as ‘Saxon Barn’, was brought back to life in 2017 and is now home to a popular monthly farmers market as well as host to many weddings and private parties. Henry’s sister Tori has used social media to promote the venue and its history, with great success.
