James resides at Tiebridge Farm near Stockbridge with his children, a dog, and two pigs. The farmhouse is situated just a few yards from the Barn Store building, and James is readily available to assist with inquiries and provide tours.

The Stockbridge Barn Store, once a large cow shed, was part of a much larger farm. It has been recently renovated and now serves as a storage facility. Located 1.5 miles from the A30 running through Stockbridge, in North Houghton village, we are conveniently 11 miles from Winchester, 10 miles from both Salisbury and Andover, and 6 miles from Romsey.

The farm is near the famous River Test, internationally renowned for its exceptional trout fly fishing. The Houghton Club, founded in 1882 and the oldest fishing club in England, is based nearby. Tiebridge Farm offers views over tranquil water meadows.

Stockbridge features a variety of independent specialist shops, including tea rooms, pubs, restaurants, art galleries, craft and gift shops, clothing boutiques, a delicatessen, and a traditional butcher. Stockbridge High Street was voted “best foodie street” in the 2010 Google Street View Awards. Nearby attractions include Danebury Hill Fort, Houghton Lodge Gardens, Mottisfont House, and the Museum of Army Flying at Middle Wallop.

The conversion of the former cow shed into a Barn Store storage facility was supported by a grant from DEFRA and the EU to promote rural sustainability and local employment. This funding was provided by the Fieldfare Local Action Group through the Rural Dev
