The story of Ryelands Farm began in the 1930s when our family became tenants, and it has thrived across four generations. Jack’s great-grandfather, a cattle enthusiast known for evaluating turnips at local markets, started it all. His three sons expanded the farm, diversifying into dairy, sheep, pigs, broiler chickens, turkeys, and various crops such as cereals, potatoes, sugar beet, and vegetables.

Today, the farm hosts a successful business center, with former agricultural buildings transformed into offices, storage, and light industrial units.

In 2021, much of the arable land joined an Environmental Stewardship Scheme. We’ve established wildflower-rich meadows and grown crops to sustain farmland birds during the “hungry gap” of late winter, aiming for a rejuvenation of native flora and fauna in the coming years.

We’ve planted 10,000 trees on a 25-acre mixed woodland along The Elmley Brook, with cricket bat willow thriving in the wetter areas.

We’ve also adapted a redundant grain store into a convenient self-storage facility, located just off the A442 Kidderminster Road to Droitwich Spa, near Hartlebury and Hartlebury Trading Estate. Stourport-on-Severn is easily accessible through Torton to the west and Mustow Green to the north. Follow signs to the Ryelands Business Centre and Barn Store.
