Meet the team at Barn-Store Bath

For five generations, the Gardiner family has cultivated North Hill Farm. Currently managed by Matthew, the farm spans 450 acres of arable crops, complemented by the lush grazing of sheep and beef cattle on the Cam Brook Valley’s steep slopes. Conservation is integral, with the farm maintaining rare habitats under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme.

Matthew resides nearby with his wife Coral and their son Alex, who not only assists with the farm but is also a key member of the Barn Store team. Their daughter Becky is pursuing a Geography degree at Southampton University. Coral, an award-winning florist, actively participates in NAFAS and serves as Vice Chairperson in the South West region.

Recently, the farm bid farewell to its dairy herd after a century of milk production, paving the way for the Barn Store Self Storage facility in the repurposed buildings. This transformation was made possible by the hard work and dedication of the entire family team.

For your self-storage needs, feel free to contact Matthew, Coral, or Alex. Located just 2.5 miles south of Bath from Sainsbury’s on Odd Down, along the B3115 before Tunley, the farm is easily accessible from Bath, Midsomer Norton, Chew Magna, Peasedown St John, and Tunley.

Outstanding storage service. I’ve used a couple of different storage places over the years, but this one has been by far the best. Access to the site is easy, all on one level and it feels very secure. Our belongings were on site for several months and were totally clean and dry. Alex was great to deal with and explained everything clearly. Finally, we were able to clear the unit a couple of weeks early having paid for the month. Completely unprompted, Alex contacted us and offered a refund for the time we weren’t using it. What a gent - a gem of a family-run business!

Barn Store Bath is brilliant. They are very easy to deal with. The facilites are clean tidy and servicable. The access is simple but secure. All my items sat for a good few months and showed no sign of degradation or damp.
