The Cranbrook Barn Store building was originally a supermarket accredited packhouse.
They are surrounded by 40 acres of woods and there is a lovely public footpath down through them. The woodland is designated a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) because the microclimate in the Gill [steep valley] nurtures rare moisture loving plants. The farm is located in the High Weald on the edge of the river Rother catchment area and enjoys splendid views to the south.
The conversion of the redundant pack house to a Barn Store facility has been assisted by a grant from DEFRA and the EU* to promote rural sustainability and local employment.
The farmhouse is a few yards from the Barn Store building, and we are available to help with your enquiries and show you around.
We are located about 30 minutes from Maidstone, Ashford or Tunbridge Wells, just outside Cranbrook on the B2086, heading towards Benenden.
