Priory Farm, nestled on the edge of the Cotswolds near Stroud and Stonehouse, has been a family-run farm for four generations. Frank Pullin, Henry’s great-grandfather, purchased it in 1936. Initially, it was a dairy farm until 2021 when the herd was dispersed, paving the way for diversification and the introduction of Barn Store. The entire family has played a significant role in the operations at Priory Farm.

Following the sale of the dairy herd, the “Stanley Beef” operation was established, first supplying local butchers and restaurants. Since then, Henry’s brother Max has expanded the business, now producing high-quality, grass-fed beef for Morrisons supermarket. The farm also manages 300 acres of arable rotation crops. In 2022, Henry and his wife Ema introduced a “pick your own” sunflower field and pumpkin patch on some of the land.

Since 2001, Priory Farm Holiday Cottages, managed by Henry’s parents Jo and Dave, have attracted visitors worldwide. These cottages were renovated from unused farm buildings and are situated amid one of Gloucestershire’s historic sites, featuring an ancient Saxon Church, Medieval Manor house, fishpond, and Tithe barn.

The Saxon Church, now the ‘Saxon Barn,’ was revitalized in 2017 and hosts a popular monthly farmers market, weddings, and private events. Henry’s sister Tori has successfully promoted the venue and its rich history through social media.
